Aaaaaaaaaaaand the page has crashed again.

 

It was over 196,000 when it blew out.  Dammit this is frustrating.

It was up when I just checked, and it gave me the Congratulations message and the '1 pixel closer' message on the picture.  So I decided to keep refreshing, and it kept on giving me both confirmation messages, and incrementing the counter.  But after I did it maybe 8 times, the page crashed.

Yeah it crashed on me while I picking off the pixels with my Magic Machine.  I was doing pretty good too.

I think they just put on some IP address limiter that causes that error if you try to refresh too many times.  In fact, I think this may be related to the IP limiter they always had on the site.  They had a limiter on it that prevented people from refreshing the page infinitely and racking up pixels each time and there was a limit of 10 total
per IP address.  I think now what's happening is that if you get past 10 and try it again, you get that server crashing error.  if some of you want to try this and see, please post your feedback.

I do this everyday, and I just wanted to say that I'm glad to see that DJPFC posted a new picture of Sara! It's like a carrot dangling in front of me, making me go forward...

The database crash seems to be an illusion. After I got it I changed IP address and the server was back at once, so it looks as though the candycrib server is rejecting 'excess' refreshes by showing a database error page.

I'd sure like to see this contract, because it's unenforceable. All these hits are only going to make the site far more valuable to advertisers. Are we sure this isn't a hoax?
