Strictly speaking, this isn't quite to the topic, but, since there's another thread on corsets--there are some lovely corsets in SL. Just as ingenious people have found ways around the limits on avatar breast size, other ingenious people have found ways around the limits on avatar waist size in the other direction. Just to mention one, the House of Alisha has a lovely outfit with a corset that one can adjust to give one a waistline as small as one inch. (When I wear it, I stay at Mlle. Polaire's size, thirteen inches. Alas, prim breasts of the size I use kind of ruin the effect, so I don't wear it often.)

 Wow, I'd just like to say that it's great on how well known SL is to our comunnity now, especially looking back to when the usual statement was 'Sl, what's that?'

 And although I seldom post here, it's nice to see some familiar names from the grid, even if I am a bit of a recluse from the BE crowd on the grid.

I respectfully submit that the advance is thanks in large part to pioneers like you, dear Sophie. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To explain, back before prim breasts were--well, I can't say "before prim breasts were cool", because they still aren't, at least in some very vocal circles--before they were something you could zip over and buy and fiddle with a convenient heads-up display to configure just right, and then buy clothes specially made for them, there were a few brave and resourceful women who built and textured their own prim breasts. (If I had sufficient GIMP skill, I'd morph a photo of Bryant Baker's classic Pioneer Woman statue and insert it here.) I am eternally grateful to them.

Icon Allen, a friend of mine and one of the implant designers is a quite adept at sculpting in general. She made some statues for the outside of one of the previous incarnations of Big'Uns which I always liked, and which she has graciously donated to me to use as I will.
