Hey all! Ive been following this thread for a while now and I have to give Melissa a virtual high five for her efforts! Do you all think Mesh boobs will replace object implanrs like eboob, lola, implant nation, etc?

 I help people from time to time skin their implants and im wondering if I should start expanding to mesh stuff

Right now it's hard to say. I hope that ultimately the avatar will change so that we don't need attachments to get the figure we want. Also, if you take a look over at maggiebluxome.com, Maggie has a post on the subject, and as things stand, she doesn't see much advantage to mesh breasts. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yesterday, Bart Seymour of Implant Nation announced he was working on a well-endowed mesh avatar. It's still under development (so to speak...  , so we'll see what happens.

Yay! Prim breast maker Icon Allen has come out with version nine of her prim breasts, which are indeed made with mesh.

She reports that they are much smoother and that texture positioning and matching works better. (Making the texture match with the top visible on the torso is very important for verisimilitude, so that is good news indeed.)

In addition, the scripting that controls them is much more efficient--not a visible improvement, but very important; greater efficiency means less of a burden on the sim.
