At a red carpet event, I was asked by the press what I thought about Jersey Shore. I answered that I had watched the promo on the Internet and as an Italian-American, born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island, it "upset me." That answer created quite the uproar. My brother said, "You should call Funny Or Die and do a parody." We wanted to make something funny and smart, but also, a video that didn't take itself too seriously. I'm a big fan of the Dove: Evolution campaign. When Seth Morris pitched me the idea of his Jersey Shore take on the campaign, I knew we found the perfect parody. But who am I kidding? I jump at any opportunity for the world to see me with frizzy hair and without make up. Happy Holidays, Internet!

I live in the South, and the young guys and girls here act very similarly to the Jersey Shore kids.

Young men work out, do steroids, try to bulk up to get girls, always have sex on the brain.  Girls wear too much make-up, show off their tits, talk too much, gossip, cause trouble, etc.

Everybody loves to go clubbing and **94**.

Only thing different is the accent.

I don't understand why the Jersey Shore kids are considered so bad???

I haven't seen the show yet, and I dont have TV cable anyway, but I did catch a clip of Craig Ferguson with Mila Kunis just idolizing snooki on Jersey Shore , and praising the show as pure genius! She says she wants to be Snooki! I found it ironic that a TV/movie personality bigger than Snooki wishes to be Snooki.

Kind of like a step backward in fame attainment.
