Natalie Wood (1938-1981) did iconic roles in Movies like West Side Story, Miracle on 34th Street, The Searchers and more and she died when she drowned near Catalina Island in California when she was married to Robert Wagner and for years there was suspicion that he had murdered her, or at least that's how I remember it.
