Definitely. The real
pain has only been a couple weeks, she was just complaining of a 'stuffy head' for a while, ever since she was mostly well from being sick.
She's to the point she can't really cope with the pain, so there's no choice but to deal with it. Hopefully she'll be on the mend by next week, doctor has surgery day on fridays and wednesdays.
We were quite concerned when the stuffiness didn't go away for so long, and then started to hurt again. I've never heard of such a thing so I was worried about cancer or worse! Is there worse? o.O Anyway, thankfully the doctor sounds confident everything is under control.
From what little you said, I'm glad we got it checked out. I read a few posts from people with similar symptoms, and several couldn't find any cause for their pain, no polyps, no inflammation, no infection...just pain and pressure. The body is a funny thing sometimes.
Reminds me of a subject written about it a psychology book I read. He had ringing in one ear, even AFTER they went so far as to remove the eardrum or something like that. Turned out it was a psychological symptom with secondary benefits. Long story short, hypnotist asked his subconscious to communicate by paralyzing his arms instead. No more ringing! Next time someone asked him to do menial work instead of his job, his arms went numb.

But I do believe, in this case, it
is, literally,
all in her head. *rimshot*
