There are many personal reasons to get a reduction and that's fine. But the bad back thing? No.
And of those, most of the popular ones boil down to conformity. (including social pressures, rude people, etc)
Are there any other body parts people have surgically altered in order to better utilize standard sizes of manufactured products like clothing?
I never considered having my feet narrowed to fit standard shoes, my legs and torso shortened to better fit in a fair number of automobiles, my skull modified to wear standard baseball hats, and a few more things....
But I guess I just don't understand... I won't have my nose altered to try to make my face less ugly either
To each their own I but I think people aren't supposed to be like manufactured products.
Also, it is too bad the human animal creates a hassle free zone where people have to be... or else.
