Did anyone catch the Today Show this AM -there was an interview with Gymnast Gabby Douglas's mother Natalie Hawkins talking about her daughter's dedication etc...But OMG she was incredibly stacked....maybe there might be more shots of her during the gymnastics competitions......sorry no vid footage...

Ahahaha the boob-supressing media has quite a quandary on its hands.  They have made Gabby Douglas the choice superstar of this Olympics, and half of her story is the mother's sacrifice to get the kid trained.  So unless they want to document everything with an odd zoomed-in from-the-chest-up shot of Natalie Hawkins (like the old Wilson-Phillips video with the awkward cuts to avoid showing Carnie Wilson), they are going to have to show us Natalie's hoot-hoots from time to time.

Again, it was Kithara who pointed the noticeable physical differences between mother and daughter.
Missed the interview but I have to agree with the statements of bignatslover - We do find it a little funny how the media has something of a problem of its own making. How do you apply the now cliche packaging technique that currently is trained on Gabby Douglas and yet not display her mom?

It was telling how the images of mom have been close up, face-only with very few full body. The Wilson-Phillips video reference was perfect by the way. 

Given the track record of these developments, after Gabby "retires", which would be in just a few years, and is no longer training to the point of suppressed puberty and crazy low body fat we should see some migration toward mom's proportions - I wonder if we will ever see her then? Perhaps as a TV commentator for the 2020 Olympics... shot from just the chest up.

Just saw a preview of the interview that Oprah does with Gabby and her mother on Access Hollywood.Her mother is wearing this big bulky sweater that goes up to her neck and shows absolutely nothing.Of course,it will be tough to post anything with her daughter beside her.Unless you know how to edit the daughter out of the picture.
