I’ve come across a bunch of cool car pix recently and I thought, what about starting a thread about cars?  But, lo and behold, there was one started about 10 years ago.  So, I’ll make use of it, instead of making a new one.
 Thought this was cool: a 1961 Ford Thunderbird bubble top

A cool looking car, but I'd like to see a pic with a driver in it.  The bubble looks so low that the driver would be hitting his head on the inside, if he'd fit at all.

I know, I was thinking of that myself: it’s a REALLY short chop top.

Yeah, it looks like something that Buck Rogers would drive. (I'm talking about the movie serials from the 1930's, not about the TV show of the 1970's.)

I always thought this 1963 Studebaker Avanti was so cool looking when I weas young. Of course, Studebaker merged with Willis Jeep and became American Motors Corporation or AMC. If you are under 40, you're probably unaware of AMC.

A good friend of mine has this 1953 Studebaker Commander, with a 5.7 litre Hemi engine in it.  I think it's an awesome car.

This is a computer representation of what the individual would like to eventually build.  I see ‘59 Caddy taillights, of course.  I believe the donor car will be a ‘59 Caddy Superior.  Those tail fins aren’t ‘59s, though.  57 or 58 maybe?
