My Great Uncle Tally, brother of my Grandfather, was a World War 1 veteran and he was gassed in action at France and I remember my mom telling me how he was constantly in and out of the VA hospital for treatment and the last car he bought was a 1965 Dodge Monaco, whose mid 70's models were also a popular police cars, and he passed away in 1969 and his widow drove it until she passed away in 1981.

One of the cars my maternal Grandfather drove was a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere but it was creme colored.

Unfortunately, The Packard car company died of in 1958 when I was 2 years old, but my father used to talk about them and his memories of them was very positive, not that he owned one, but he wanted to buy one but could not afford it at the time.

You know, I've seen lots of photos of late 30's vehicles, but that delivery truck is truly unique.

1936 Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic Coupe



Below, the Chrysler Atlantic concept of 1995.  Hard to believe we’re coming up on this thing being 30 years ago.  The 1938 Talbot-Lago T150 SS Coupe was also a big influencer of the Chrysler’s design, especially the round doors.

Built from 1997 to 2002 based on a 1993 concept car, the Plymouth Prowler was a retro styled roadster which I liked and thought to purchase but I found it a little more expensive that I wanted to pay, so I bought a 1997 s-10 Chevrolet pickup truck. Plymouth doesn't exist anymore.

Back in 1976, I visited my father who at the time was living in Canada, and the boyfriend at the time of my stepsister owned a 1971 Triumph TR6 which was a fun drive, but he got rid it of it later on since it was an unreliable car. At the time, British cars were very stylish but mechanically unreliable. His was white with a red interior.

1927 Oldsmobile Model 30-E.  One of my Great Uncles owned one of these back when my mother was a toddler in the late 20's, early 30's but he died in a car accident while driving it near Abilene, Texas during a Blue Northern storm.

From 1975 to 1980, the AMC Pacer, one of the ugliest cars ever built as far as I'm concerned.
