If you are old enough to remember that old cop TV show, Starsky and Hutch, this was the car they drove in the show.  :)

Remember how from a long time how you could identify the Lincoln Continental Mark series from behind for many years with the trunk having that fake spare tire feature?

A car company my father had great memories of, The Packard car company, 1899-1958. The big three, GM, Ford and Chrysler killed it off.  :'(

That’s so cool, especially for 1954.

Cool hubcaps, too.   :)

I apologize in advance if I post duplicate pictures in any of the picture threads I deal in.  My MO in getting pictures of one girl is to rip her Instagram.  That ends up with me having up to 2000 pics of her.  I've tried almost half a dozen duplicate finder programs, and none of them find all of the duplicates I inevitably end up with.

Car tires of that era had tires with white sidewalls.  :)

First time I saw this car on Car and Driver magazine when I was a teenager, I fell in love with it. :)

I remember my father bought a 1968 Chevrolet Impala station wagon with fake wood decals on the side body because back in 1940, when he was a teenager, an uncle of his bought a 1940 Packard with a real wooden body. Dad told me that back in the 1930's and 1940's, most station wagons of the time had real wooden bodies.
