In 1915, the "Wolseley-Vickers" car was unveiled, which was a qualitative leap in the world of British military vehicles.

Wow, must have been some amazing mechanicals to make the switch between drivetrains and steering mechanisms!

I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's when Chrysler came up with a bunch of high performance cars in their Dodge and Plymouth divisions which they called Super Bees.

The 1960's was the golden age of Muscle cars.

Those were nice, but I preferred the ‘67 & ‘68 models with the hidden headlights, or the generation before that with the vertically stacked headlights that reminded me of Cadillacs.

At the time, I remember reading on Motor Trend magazine how the 1976 Cadillac El Dorado convertible was going to be the last convertible built/sold in the USA due to safety reasons and federal government regulations and so it was the last/ultimate convertible on the land. Of course, when President Reagan was in the white House in the 1980's, they got rid of that rule from the Jerry Ford administration and convertibles are still sold nowadays.

God, what an amazing car that is.  Almost the best combination of fast looking and beautiful possible.

My father had/drove this Plymouth, which was a company car, which I do have memories of it when I was a young k1d in the early 60's because it was so big, from my point of view, as I would crawl into it and a very distinctive feature of it was the hood ornament which was called a Yankee clipper. I think it's a shame that cars mostly don't have hood ornaments any more.

From 1963 to 1967, the Chevrolet Corvette was what is now called the second generation of the vehicle and the generation was know for its very curved and split rear window and it had a 427 cubic inch fuel injected V-8 engine which was pretty radical in those days. American cars in those days had carburetors.
