In my opinion, one of the best cars from the 1930's which unfortunately did not survive the Great Depression.

Back in 1961, we moved from an apartment to a home and at the Papermill my dad worked at, he got to use a Dodge Power Wagon to move some of our stuff/furniture, some which I inherited after he died 7 years ago, and this photo reminded me of that.

I've only seen this 1953 Corvette in car museums but today is the anniversary of the introduction of it in 1953.

Back in 1978, there was a great comedy called Animal House and Tim Matheson, who was Eric Stratton, leader of the sorority house, drove a 1962 Corvette.

I remember this vehicle from the late 60's, early 70's which was actually based on the World War 2 Kubel Wagen, the German version of the Jeep but it wasn't a good as the Jeep.

One style I miss is when cars had a lot of chrome on them.

My first car was a 1968 Chevy Impala, and this 1968 Pontiac Bonneville was a close cousin to it. It had bigger engines with more power as standard.

In 1964, my father wanted to buy this convertible car, but my mother did not want it. My mother grew up in West Texas during the Dust Storms era back in the 1930's, and so she didn't like cars that could be treated poorly by the weather in her opinion.
