Oh Boy
« on: July 28, 2013, 07:43:27 PM »
My e mail app went belly up yesterday. I`ve spent FIVE hours today talking to techs from AT&T and Microsoft to no avail. Microsoft will try again tomorrow. I hate Windows 8 with a PASSION! Avoid it if you possibly can. :P

Last night around 10 PM local time, Sprint suffered some kind of virus attack on their cellphones which has ended up destroying the Message section of the cell phone. Had to take my phone to Sprint to have it reset and I lost all my contact phone numbers. Bummer ....  >:(

Ditto on Windows 8 and Server 2012 both.

We currently run a Windows 7 / Server 2008 environment here at work and we will not be changing any time soon.  We did some testing with Windows 8 and let me tell you, it is a NIGHTMARE to support from a business standpoint.

Yup, sticking with Windows 7. I see no reason to "upgrade" to Win 8 any time soon, if ever. I'd rather go full Mac-mode than do that.

Four hours with Microsoft today. No result. I will have ATT inspect my house for wiring/modem/router problems. :P

After about 15 hours on the phone trying to solve a software problem, I replaced the wireless modem and that solved all my computer issues. ;D
