She is being advertised as Cassandra Peterson and not Elvira for tomorrow's show. But it is Halloween,so you never know if she will appear as Elvira.

The TiVo listing for the episode says "costumed guests include actress Ana Gasteyer, actor Eric Christian Olsen and actress Cassandra Peterson," so there's a pretty good chance she'll be in seasonal attire. ;)

She was dressed as Elvira. She was not in the studio with the hosts. They would cut to Elvira and she would throw to commercials.

It's disappointing that they didn't talk with her; she was in the Groundlings improv troupe with Phil Hartman and Paul Reubens, and has great stories to tell. But it was a good —if unremarkable— Elvira performance anyway. I posted some video in the HALLOWEEN FUN featuring ELVIRA thread in General forum.
