Perhaps I have failed to take into consideration how few people actually post here anymore; there are plenty of lurkers, but few actually posting. I suppose there could be reasons, why you would register but not post, the fear of saying something offensive or appearing stupid, or just the fear of having the trolls trying to cancel you for saying something they don't like. In that respect, the BEA is very much like Twitter, I suppose, but even far more toxic; tweeting draws far more likes than caustic replies in my experience. Just from a single post (medical analysis) six hours ago, 3 posts supporting, 5 likes, Ø in disagreement. Yeah, that is not the case here. Remembering a time when free speech was tolerated but free attacks were penalized.
