You are right. I don't much care for the things. I won't go out of my way to hurt or bother one but if my car by accident runs over one I won't feel too bad about it unlike a dog.

In my lifetime, I`ve had about six dogs and six cats. Dogs are friends. Cats are fascinating. A dog`s affection is there for the taking. A cat`s affection must be earned.

Please consider that cat you may hit may have been cared about by someone as much as a dog... :(

Like I said, I won't hurt it on purpose but my honest feelings on the matter are what they are. Live and let live and keep your cat out of my property. If I accidentally hurt your animal I'll try to make monetary amends but I just won't feel bad about the animal itself. I understand the owner would need my sympathy and I would apologize profusely for the harm I've done to the person and do my best to comfort the owner as best as I can but I still don't like cats. Guess I'm a monster.

Don`t feel bad. I would rather have a pet rat than a Chihuahua.
