Here's the problem: when you go through the 'Forgot Password' process, if the script finds more than one user ID with your email address, it assigns you the ID created
most recently. In your case, that is a temporary ID you briefly used in 2007. (Solvegas has exactly the same problem.)
So yeah, click "Support" in the black bar at the top of the page and submit a trouble ticket, and Customer Support should be in touch with you in the next day or so. (They're kinda swamped.)
