Flip count for the Bracket D Final is tough to call, since there aren't any real votes that count as a "flip": three posters voted for Yulia Nova in the bracket semis who voted against her in the bracket final and, of those three, two of them had also voted for Tessa Fowler in the other bracket semifinal, so those don't really count as flips. Only one poster voted for Yulia and against Tessa in the semis, and switched it up in the bracket final. I'm not going to call anyone's name but, if that poster is willing to "out" themselves, I'd love to know what went into that decision?
Tessa beat Yulia 9-8: of the nine votes that Tessa received in the bracket final, five posters had also voted for her in all three of the previous rounds. Compare that to only three of the eight posters who voted for Yulia voted for her in all three of the previous rounds (would have been four, but one poster came in after the deadline in Yulia's first round matchup). Each model in the bracket final had two posters who voted for her in every round, whom also either abstained, or voted against the other model in every round.
Eleven posters voted in at least one matchup involving one or both of these models in the previous three rounds, who all abstained from voting in the bracket final. That number includes five posters who participated in one or both of the bracket semifinals, but declined to participate in the bracket final. And that number includes one poster who participated in every matchup involving those two models in every round, except for the bracket final, although it is equally noteworthy that that poster is the only one who voted in the affirmative for both models in each of the three previous rounds, so it's possible that they were just unable/**86** to chose.
Compare that to three posters (including myself) whom had declined to participate in either bracket semifinal, but voted in the bracket final. Those votes swung 2-1, in favor of the winning model.
EDIT - TIL that the word "unw*ll*ng" triggers a filter; not sure what that's about?
