Being raised a Catholic, there is an initial, reflexive sense of discomfort when I see a person in a nun outfit which can be seen as degrading to the Order. But then I see the morph done by the Captain and I then think about how the Church might be able to rehabilitate its flagging attendance numbers with such a sexy nun as a marketing device.

LOL. You're not alone in having hesitation about potential blasphemy in a picture. I'm not a fan of women posing by a cross. I can let it slide if it's a tiny one on a necklace, but not a giant metal cross that is clearly a significant part of the picture. It's just too weird.
Damn. I thought I was the only one whom felt this way, but for different reasons. I was raised by a bad Catholic mother, only because she assumed I felt the same way about God and Christ as she did. I became an agnostic at 15, and atheist at 26. When I see a sexy woman wearing a cross, or model woman posing with one, even around the neck, I feel a tinge of hypocrisy on her part, like a good Christian woman wouldn't pose that way. Given the Church's record on sexual history makes it even worse. Just my humble opinion.
