A US 34S in the UK is a 34M, Rachel Aldana is a 32M and they seem pretty comparable to me, both of them wear custom made bras that have been shown to fit so I don’t see a reason to doubt their accuracy.
I do wish there was a standard system widely used though to save confusion.
