Thanks for your swift response, 3deroticer, and your proposal. I think we have to reach some golden mean between too general and too specific. I would agree that "science fiction and fantasy" is far too broad: when you think about it, "fantasy" applies to every morph or artwork posted here. OTOH "HiTech sci-fi mechanism" is on the narrow side. I would suggest simply science fiction as the theme: that OK with you? Of course your own entries may adhere to the HITech theme, but others may take a wider view. We had two good examples among winners of earlier contests, first in February 2016:
