Fortunately I was able to find the non-WEBP version (and .WEBP file attachments have not been visible for me ever since the last great Forum fastapazool):

It would probably be better if people just converted them to JPEG files. That's what I do, I use Microsoft paint and convert them because I know not everyone can see that format.

I've posted links to online converter tools that would make it dirt-easy to convert files from WEBP to JPEG or PNG format before. Here they are once more. Hopefully more people will choose to use them to make things easier for everyone else.
