So where did this spring from, and how come I'd never heard of it until now?

Someone wanted to move their entire storyline over from another site.  So another person sent me all the episode files from that site, and I wrote a program to convert them into Addventure episodes.

I turned them into a separate Game because there were over 6000 episodes going back to 2012, and it was going to be much too much trouble to try to incorporate them into the main Addventure.  Also if I'd merged the old episodes into the existing Index, nobody would have been able to find the new additions because they would have been mixed in with everything else.

There was a lot of discussion about this on Discord over the weekend after people noticed the new links to it on the site

Thanks. I don't suppose there's any chance of persuading Prisoner to do that with his games? It would be great to have them open for business again.

Incidentally, have this site's owners placed any limitation on how much disk space the addventures can use, are are they happy for them to grow indefinitely?

I've never had any contact with Andrew (Prisoner) and I have no idea if there's any contact info on his site or if that contact info is still good...

I've never heard of any disk space limit... but I also just noticed the server is currently at 97% disk space usage....

I imagine that the pictures take up a lot more space than the addventure, but the addventure is so large now that I would think its usage must be quite substantial.

I measured it sometime last year and it came to around 11 GB.  Far less than the server's 300 GB drive.

So we shouldn't need to worry about the amount of space the addventure uses for at least a couple more centuries.

A couple days ago they deleted some log files which freed about 50GB of space.
