Real Life Breast Expansion "how to" Question
« on: November 29, 2013, 11:12:46 AM »
I'm working with a model who wants to do a "real life" breast expansion sequence. She already has REALLY big boobs. What we want to do is capture a "busting out" sequence where she starts out with an already tight top and then busts it open.

What I wanted to know from you guys is HOW. What are the small details and simple tricks to make this happen. Like I said, her boobs are already really big, and what we want to do is create the illusion of them busting out.

Any advice you can provide will be GREATLY appreciated. And OF COURSE I will post the final product here for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks in advance,
Rbix

Do you know Taylormadeclips.com? The entry page is "unusual". But this is one of the links on it:

Search the internet for it and also here on the BEarchive you will find something about "Taylormade".

yeah. I am quite familiar with her work and her use of prosthesis. What I'm talking about is more of a "natural" effort. The lady that I am working with already has BIG boobs and what we want to do is a sequence that shows her "busting out."
What I need to better understand is what techniques to utilize to make this happen with fidelity and intensity so that it has a WOW-factor that meets the expectations of the audience. I need the method that is going to produce a great result that will have the people in the pants give a standing ovation - if you understand me…

Start with buttoned up top, have her arch back while thrusting chest out and helpful if top is tight with easily popable buttons or snaps. She also can lift them during a close up shot to show breasts "forming" a more spherical shape.
Just because your big breasts are the biggest, doesn't mean they can't be made BIGGER :)

Thanks Kopy Kat. I appreciate the input.
What else? What are the other tricks to make them look bigger or like they are getting bigger?

One of the ideas we are working on is that she is doing the average "videoblog" and while she is talking, her boobs are getting bigger and eventually bust out of her top. I was thinking "ripping out of an athletic undershirt" or"pushing through a top that ties up in the front.

How can we pull the shirt tighter from behind and make them look bigger that way?

Random thought:

Get her the same top in 2 or 3 different sizes. Start out with the largest top, then use creative edits to allow her to put on the next smaller size.

Also, she could exaggerate the effect by slouching the most at the outset, then very gradually slouching less and less, then with the next smaller top, resume with the max slouching, gently changing until....

My $0.02.

Although looking at Taylormade will give some examples of the techniques they use you have one advantage:
Your model / actor is already busty!

If your intent is to show the process of BE you have another advantage because of having a busty actor, your can focus your attentions on reactions and props and less on making progressively larger realistic looking boobs.

Here are Kithara's and Nimrod's suggestions for BE when already busty -
1) Spend time on the reasons, story, process or whatever as a good back story will set the mood you are looking for. Even if it is just jump in and grow give it some manner of setting or frame to the story so you have a start, middle and end...
2) Spend time on reactions, feelings, effects and such - it is not just about the boobs. It is not just about going from one size to another - think about the reasons, the rate, etc. There are thousands of flavors of BE.
3) Spend time on the secondary consequences of being more, or suddenly, or randomly busty... Are there embarrassments, jealous friend/enemy, advantages or disadvantages or simply what to do to stand up.

Because you have a busty actor -

Try buying the same shirt in progressively smaller sizes so you do not have to put them in bizarre flexing too get a simple effect.
If you are going to rip clothing - pre-cut or otherwise prep the clothing. You try ripping out of clothing, it is tough stuff.
Use simple tricks of perspective, lighting, vantage point, lens focal length changes, etc.

There are many references in movies, TV, etc. showing BE - think about ones that do it well and how it was done. Many times it is surprisingly simple without using big fake boobs, special effects or having the actor "arch their back".

Movie Examples NOT using special effects:
Death Becomes Her = Meryl Streep 34-B gets a bust boost through magic and it is accomplished "in-camera" by switching her dress and having a staff member literally push her breasts up from underneath. No special effects.
Dangerous Liaisons = Uma Thurman 36-C portrays a younger version of herself and an older and then pregnant version of herself by just strapping her down (then not) and creative costuming.
Evil Toons = Monique Gabrielle 34-D downplays her figure until the evil forces of the film start to take hold and affect the women in the film. It is all accomplished through acting, wardrobe, lighting and suggestion.
She's Having a Baby = Elizabeth McGovern 34-C being the titular pregnant woman deals with her burgeoning bosom in one quick cut scene by simply using a series of smaller and smaller bras. (in later years McGovern got a reduction, why?)
