Does anyone out there know how to save pictures from Instagram?  I've had to resort to grabbing screen captures of my desktop (the good old "PrtScn" button) and pasting it into an image app.  It'd be nice if there were an easier way to do it....

Does anyone out there know how to save pictures from Instagram? 

It's a bit involved. Here's how I do it while using the Google Chrome web browser.

Click on the photo to expand it.
Right-click on the photo, choose "Inspect element..."
Search for a link that contains "cdninstagram.com"; if you rest your mouse pointer on that link, you'll see a thumbnail of the image show up.
Click on that link, and the full size of the photo will show up in a frame underneath.
Right-click on the photo, choose "Open image in new tab"
Go to that tab, right-click on the photo, choose "Save as..."

Wow.  I'll have to try that and time it, but that sounds like it'd be easier to just use the MS Paint method I described above.

Wow, just saw that Chrome is available for the iOS.  I'll have to put it on the wife's iPad.

I'd guess it's only a matter of time before it's available at the Microsoft (app) Store.
