Avatar Animations

I am having problems with my Avatar animations not running.

The current one with Vixen in a Christmas theme is one I did a few years ago and it ran fine back then. Also when I tried to create a new one with Paint Shop Pro Animation Shop the same thing happens.

May the software is not compatible with this website.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I had also sent a PM to Matt and Gabe about this, but did not receive a response.

As you can see it runs when I upload it.

I think the GIF's file-size is too large, so the forum software flattened it and converted it to a PNG when you uploaded it to your profile. I don't remember what the file-size-limit is for avatars, but it's probably a round number like 100k, and your GIF is 123k.

I think the size limit is either 100k or 125k.

well my current BE gif of Chelsea is 143k, so I am sure if it is 143 or smaller it SHOULD animate.

Fixed. The GIF was evidently fine, but the forum software was fumbling the change procedure.

When you change avatars, it's sometimes necessary to set it to "Personalized Picture (no pic)" and save your profile, then upload the new avatar and save the profile again. That's all I had to do to get it to accept the GIF.

You're very welcome.
When you want to use other avatars, make sure the art is no bigger than 125x125 pixels, or the forum software will flatten it into a PNG again.
