Weight vs CC's vs cup size .
« on: October 08, 2024, 06:13:42 AM »
 Ok guys , this is one for the 'technical' guys amongst us..... I've had a thought going around in my head about how to work out an eventual 'cc' size and an approximate cup size , starting from an advertised weight.... I'm talking about breast forms here (silicone)..... I would imagine that this would approximate to actual implants too ?
   So , if I give you some 'weights' to start from , can any of you work out said weights to an equivalent 'cc' size and a 'cup size' ....
 So , try these to start with :  500 gram , 1000 gram and 1800 gram  and 2800 gram .   Get your calculators out boys ! lol ....

 From a web search, "for every 100cc, a silicone implant weighs 0.23lbs. For every 100cc a saline implant weighs 0.21lbs"

Implant size to final cup size all depends on the person and can't really be calculated just by the implant size.
 So from your examples should allow a rough equivalent in silicone implants.
500g=1.1lbs=479cc
1000g=2.2lbs=956cc
1800g=3.96lbs=1725cc
2800g=6.17lbs=2683cc

To expand out your examples, if you search Amazon for Volence super huge breast forms they make ones that are 6,000g each (12kg for the pair).  They work out to
6000g=13.22lbs=5750cc silicone implant rough equivalent.

  Thanks very much VF !  ... Very comprehensive answer .  So , the 'gram' weight is sort of in the same ball park as the 'cc' size .   As for the cup size being relevant , a lady that I know wears a 44'' band size bra ( UK sizing) , so is there way to work out a 'cc' size ( and cup size ) which would be directly relevant to that ?? ..... Thanks for your help .

Here is a chart I found that lists the volume that a bra holds in CC by band/cup size so I don't know if it is a direct comparison to the increase of breast size when adding an implant, and I am sure that with all the variation in different bra manufacturer standards this is a really loose approximation, but I figure it could be used as a rough analog. If the theory holds roughly true to your case as a 44 band size and your lady was starting as a 44B cup (1000cc nice round number) and you added a 580cc implant she would be roughly a UK 44DD, if you follow the yellow boxes diagonally down the chart adding 1060cc instead, the increase from a B to a F cup and so on.

  Thank you so much VF ! That chart is very useful and informative . My lady friend and I will be studying that chart carefully.....   ;) ;D
