I was looking through the forum stats, and I noticed something in the forum history section.  For some reason, there's only been 3 new forum registrations since 2019!  In 2019, we had 2286 new members register, then in 2020 it dropped down to 0!  3 people were able to register last year, but that's it.  What the hell happened to make it so hard to register for the forum?  It's no wonder we're going downhill.

Apparently you have to pay to join the forum now, although the owner did say that the forum should be free. I'll need to e-mail him and provide him with screenshots.

you are completely right Salem.and the answer is quite easy IMHO: because one won't get registered without a (charged) subscription.
After a lot of effectless trials I've summarised my experiences there.

Maybe I shouldn't have brought this up, then.  If the owner wants to make money off the site that badly, bringing this to his attention may end up with all current members being forced to subscribe or leave.

I see, this could happen. On the other side a subscription fee could prevent "members" to register dormant accounts, never again used at least not for contributing.
