The (now crap) TV series Buffy: The Vampire Slayer - based on the flop film Buffy: The Vampire Slayer - was going to be called Muffy, however someone realised the possible repercussions. Especially when people shortened Muffy's name to 4 letters.

Hey, you're getting close to fightin words there.  I like the show, it rocks.  Anyway, I'd have to disagree about whether the tv show was made from the movie.  Sure, it's the same writer for both, but the TV show is how the movie should have been done according to Joss.  Anyway, here's an interview with the main man himself: Joss Whedon.

Can't wait for the Saturday morning animated series to come out ... I kid you not

As for lesbian witches....how come when she was after Xander she looked all nerdy(of course I always liked her) and now that she plays for the other team she is the hottest thing on the planet(except of the fact that she doesn't need a bra)?
