I've had a problem with 1-2mb attachments, but only on the Beshine thread; there is always a error message and it may take a dozen attempts over hours before it takes.  I believe that there server is unable to handle anything beyond a couple kb on that thread, but seriously, this problem has been ongoing for months.  I usually post, then go back numerous times before it will accept the picture.  Just saying here as I know no one that has the ability cares enough to rectify the problem.

I've been able to attach up to 3MB to any other thread with no problem, but Beshine's thread also gives me hard time unless I edit the photo and minimize it in order to make it work. I have no idea why unless Beshine has forced the BEA to make her thread extra special in some respects.
