So, how come AI can get the number of fingers right in something like this, but can’t figure it out when one is trying to create something “real” looking.

Well how can I put this? There are only two problems with AI; one: It is artificial! And two: It is not all that intelligent! Other than that, it's great at doing some things, but not others. So until some AI can posit something equivalent to French philosopher René Descartes's "Cogito, ergo sum." (I think, therefore I am.) as a statement that can not be doubted about its own existence, it will always be an artificial form of intelligence, no matter how good it may be in preforming complex tasks. This is the main reason I think it will be long time, if ever, for an AI to achieve sentience like that of a living being. And that's today's lesson from Philosopher Sam.

Okay back to some AI generated art. This is a follow-up to two previous AI pictures by Zoloran (https://www.deviantart.com/zaloran) featuring the same AI beauty that I posted before in this thread. It seems to answer the question in the second one, "What do you want for Breakfast?" Plus the detail in this one is so much greater, although her forearms look a little odd. A really, really nice AI version of her.
Truth be told, while Kat is really curvy in a way I like, what I love most about her is her face. She has a really great face, and IMO her AI version appears to capture it. Still I'd love to see the real Kat in something like what her AI version is wearing.

One question, Is Dazdai7 the name of the artist, or is it the AI software?

I don’t think it’s much better.  More realistic, perhaps, but I think 102 is cuter and bustier, and therefore, better, imo
