Melonie!  Oh my god, thank you sooooo much for your help, you are like such a lifesaver!!  I have written to you so many freakin times, I know I am making a complete pest of myself, but this boob stuff just keeps me so dang confused!

First of all, I really love reading what you have to say as you are sooooo knowledgeable on breast implants.

I completely understand what you're saying about unders...I was afraid that there may possibly be distortion with implants that size under the muscle.  I can also understand what you mean about the achy kind of pain you had, that totally makes sense.

I can also understand why textured would maybe be better with over the muscle placement as the implants would 'adhere' more to the tissue than smooth, correct?  BUT, I have heard though that when comes time to replace the implants (for whatever reason), textured's tend to stick more and they literally have to be scraped out, thus causing tissue to be removed?  Is this true?  At least this is what's been told me.  I definitely don't know if that's accurate or not.

Now, about the lift, this is definitely what frightens me the most!  I am attaching a picture of my boobs for you to see.  I am so saggy, my nipples point down to the ground and I have a lot of loose, extra skin.  Now, I can see how all of this loose, extra skin can be completely filled out no problem....but I just can't see how my breasts and nipples can be moved UP without surgically lifting them up via a lift.  Even if my boobs get filled up, how is it possible to move them up higher?  I mean, wouldn't you think that the weight of the implants would cause them to droop even more?  I understand that if I was to do a lift first and then put in expanders, I'd have to wait until my lift scars were healed first before starting any expansion so as not to jeapordize the healing of the scars, correct?  So, would it be possible to put in expanders over the muscle, fill them up completely, then perform a lift later on, AFTER the augmentation??  That way we could see how much sag has been treated naturally with the expansion process, and see how much sag is left?  Or would it be too late to perform the lift then because of how tight the boobs and skin will be stretched?

Lastly, the surgeon I spoke with only does unders, I don't even think he does overs.  But I will speak with him and see if he will do overs for me, and I'll see what he says I guess.  But do you know any really good big boob surgeons in California though?  I am in central CA and this particular surgeon is about 7 hours north of me, so it would be cool to find a doc closer to me, preferably in the LA area, as I will have to have many fill-ups.

And just to let you know, I would definitely not mind having boobs bigger, rounder or firmer than Lolo's, I just wish for a similar look as her.  I was thinking that I wanted somewhere in the 4000cc range anyway, and I hear that Lolo was in the 3000cc range...

Thank you SO much for your advice and help Melonie, I so so appreciate it!!!  You are seriously a HUGE help to me:o)!!!  I have been waiting sooooooo long for this surgery and I just want to make sure I make the right choices and I do this right from the beginning.  I don't want to end up dissatisfied from the very beginning, and not at all if I can help it!

Thanks so much:o)!!!

Hi Cinnamon,

I moved your post to this forum as we try to keep things somewhat organized to make posting/finding/responding to particular threads easier for forum visitors. It's not a big deal... it just makes it easier to get an answer to a particular Q faster. Computer Qs in the Computer forum, VCR Alerts in that forum, etc... that's all.

I'm not an authority on breast augmentation by any stretch of the imagination, and there are SO many knowledgable folks here who are happy to share excellent, experience-based info (as you've seen). However, just as a matter of common sense (and being a smart consumer) I'd strongly advocate finding a surgeon who specializes in just the type of over-muscle procedures that you're interested in, rather than trying to talk your current doctor into doing a surgery that he doesn't advocate and therefore probably doesn't do often. And if you're in the LA area, there must be MANY experienced surgeons here, given the number of implanted women walking around everywhere (I've lived in LA for about a decade).

BTW, this is only my opinion and not an attempt to influence your plans, but personally I think your breasts are quite lovely... not "saggy" and CERTAINLY not "nasty" (from your filename). They look soft and feminine, with a pleasant pendelous quality that strikes me as appealingly retro. Of course, that's just my opinion... I'm sure that you'll look great after implants as well.

Good luck!

I do not know anything about the medical complications of these kinds of surgeries. All I can say is that I've been watching your site Cinnamon for a bit and that I look forward to your surgery! You are already a hot looking woman and I'm sure you will be happy with the results.

As for Zasha, are you still getting a surgery and if so, when? Damn, keep lots of before pictures everyone! I like the comparisons as much as the woman's reactions

Cinnamon, in regard to your concern that your nipples will come out in the wrong position, you've got to think 'outside the box' for a minute.  When you get small implants they wind up being the same shape as the natural breast, simply because the existing skin easily covers the implant.  But when a girl goes for BIG implants, it's necessary for the plastic surgeon to "liberate" extra skin to cover them.  In your case it's a simple matter for the surgeon to "liberate more skin from your chest wall directly beneath your breasts a.k.a. "lowering your crease".  This will make your nipples wind up being positioned in the center of your breasts more or less, since extra "liberated" skin will move from your chest wall to the bottom side of your implanted breasts allowing your nipples to move up.

In point of fact, there are very few plastic surgeons who are willing to work with implants larger than catalog sizes.  There are even fewer doctors who are really experienced with large implant patients and the unique challenges they present.  I'm an east coast girl, but two California big implant surgeons who come to mind are Dr. Geoff Sinclair in Bev Hills, and Vixen's new discovery Dr. John Yermian in L.A.

Don't sweat the textured implants.  When it comes time to replace implants, textured or smooth, where large implants are concerned this also usually involves a capsulectomy procedure where any scar tissue on the inner surface of the breast is removed along with the implants.  This is done to restore elasticity to the skin.  In the meantime, the textured surface helps support the implants by exactly the mechanism you mentioned - the implant surface bonds lightly with the inner surface of the breast tissue.

Lift scars will do more than look nasty - scar tissue is notoriously non-elastic such that large lift scars may in fact cause problems with the expansion of adjustable implants.  The nature of the problem is similar to the presence of uneven muscle tissue over the implant.  Parts of the breast are likely to stretch easily while other parts don't want to stretch at all.  But with "anchor" lift scar tissue, this could result in some really bizarre shape distortion (like breast bottoms resembling the letter W instead of the letter U ).

I would definitely not consider a lift procedure of any sort until I was already at a 4000cc size and was forced into one.  If that ever comes to pass, you'll then be able to consider a "donut" lift where a ring of skin is removed around the nipples.  In this way the scar tissue only occurs around the peripery of your areolae, where it's not very noticeable.  At the 4000cc stage, you also won't have to worry about scar tissue posing an obstacle to further expansion.

I have to agree with Palomine on this one. I am sometimes asked if I should offer my talents to some local plastic surgeon to show women what they could look like.

You know, if I had to do this for a job, it wouldn't be any fun.

Some of the unknowns, none in the erotic entertainment industry, usually like what I do with their pictures. The minority calls me names or accuses me of unimaginable perversions.

Anyway, Melonie has a lot of knowledge that she willingly shares with us common folks and I for one am glad she keeps us informed.

Hi Palomine!!

Thank you so much for your post!!  And thank you for your compliments on my boobs, I really appreciate that as I am VERY hard on my own boobs.  I personally think they are horrible, so it is very nice to hear kind words about them.

I definitely agree with you.....I am starting to think that I need to find another surgeon who is used to doing huge implants, I just can't seem to locate any that will work with me!  As crazy as it sounds, I have only learned of 3 docs in the LA area who work with huge implants, but 2 of them I did not like either one, so I decided not to go with them, and the 3rd being Vixen's doc who I had not heard of prior to Vixen's mentioning.  I am planning on consulting with her doc.

By the way, I absolutely loved how you described my boobs, you have a wonderful way with words!!  Lovely description, that was so sweet!!

Thanks again:o)!!

Hi Mr Melons!!!  I love your name by the way:o)!!!!

Thank you so much for your post and your very kind words!!!  And thank you for following my progress!!!  I haven't updated my site FOREVER and I feel really bad about that.  I just never have time to maintain it anymore and I don't have anyone else working on it but me, so it wont be updated for another month or so.

Thanks so much for your comments though, I really appreciate it:o)!!!!

Melonie, I just wanted to THANK YOU for your wonderful, wonderful advice and information, I swear to god you are SO awesome!!!  Damn you know your STUFF!!!!  You could make a doctor sweat since you know as much as them!! LOL!!!

Everything you explained to me makes soooooo much sense to me.  I'm reading your post going 'ohhhh ya!'  LOL!!

I definitely don't want to get a lift first, but I think I will get that donut lift after I'm fully expanded, if I have to of course.  But definitely not before.

Everything you said made so much sense, thank you so much.  I REALLY appreciate all your help, you totally helped me out Melonie!!!

Hmm. You say you are hard on your boobs? I would venture to say that some of the guys here would be hard on them too. As in giving them a thorough working out.   After which they may be a bit hard too.

You're not alone in being hypercritical of your appearance - it seems to be an almost universal trait.  We've all got -something- we dislike about ourselves and want to change, and it's good to see that you can accept compliments about a part of your body that, while you may not be 100% happy with, other people still derive enjoyment from, or don't see in a negative light.

You might also want to talk to the doc who did Christine Allure's latest upgrade, too - iirc, she was -very- happy with his attitude, professionalism, and all that sort of thing.

Cinnamon Love ... I'll take that.  There's a Travis McGee mystery called Cinnamon Skin, and the original Mission Impossible featured a Cinnamon Carter.  For that matter,I'm a fan of Cinnamon Toast -- and you could think of "toast" as in "We now raise and clink our wineglasses in honor of ... "  But Cinnamon Love will do.  'Minds me of when Halle Berry was shooting Die Another Day, and Samuel L. Jackson asked her what her character's name was.  When she said Jinx, he looked a bit disappointed and admitted he'd been hoping for Cinnamon Buns.  So, no Buns, but there is Love.

With your great attitude and your Lolo avatar, I'm going to count you as a new favorite.  I'm going to go off now to celebrate my 1000th post; hope you'll be around for the next thousand.  Cheers, and a (Cinnamon) toast!

Hi!  Thanks so much for your message!!  I couldn't agree with you more - sooooo many people are criticial of themselves it is amazing.  It is quite rare when people are totally satisfied with the way they look.

And thank you for the info, I will have to post to Christine Allure and ask her about her doc!

Thanks:o)!!!
