Have you noticed the number of times people in cosplay have to find some tiny bit of landscaping, typically some urban flowerbed, planter, or overgrown corner of a conventional hall parking lot in order to take photos with their character actually in a setting like the source material?
Every so often you see one actually travel to a forest, an actual river, to the ocean, etc. But most of the time it is standing in a clump of ivy just outside the gas station across the street for the event.
