Your writing is wonderful! It made me laugh. I'm thinking Jim Carey as the lead, someone with physical comedy struggling with a sex doll. Could also be Will Farrell. If you made the doll look like Sarenna Lee, with her acting experience she could be the dream state doll that comes alive in his dream.

It is just time and technology when these dolls may be a real substitute for human companionship if they continue to progress as they are. Back in the 70's, all you had were blow up dolls. Now, you have realistic samples such as this.

I've been browsing a couple sites for a few months now, waiting to get settled into a new home and clearing out major expenses first.  Fansdolls was a potential favorite, as I had at least 8 or 9 models to choose from, but the website no longer exists, and as of now, I'm still searching for a legit purchase.  I would have figured this COVID would drive business booming, even with a recession.  Story of my life, when I wait to buy something, whether it be video games, concert tix, or some other great novelty item, it sells out or shuts down, gone forever.

I see it this way. You were probably lucky that you did not buy the thing since the company was probably already in deep financial stress and they may have taken your money but not deliver the product. Sometimes businesses just collapse and disappear, especially if they are small, and there may not be any notification. Besides, there is always tomorrow.

That's from 2 years ago. With processing speed doubling every two years, so far, I could see in a few years something which may become uncannily human to some and very disturbing to others.
