Are there really such things as areola implants?
« on: December 12, 2003, 06:38:20 PM »
I heard a few rumors about these things.

What I've heard-
Once you get large implants, your areola sorta flattens out and stretches around the implant, where as if there where no implants and natural it would sorta bulge out a bit sometimes.

The areola implant is supposed to be placed over the main breast implant and some how attached to the flesh under your skin around the edges of your areola. I heard that its attached just like cheek implants, with little holes on the sides where tissues grows keeping it in place.

But in the end its supposed to make your areolas and nipples all bulgy looking.

I've been looking arond for some pictures to see what exactly the end result might look like, but so far I've been unsuccessful. Anybody else heard of these, or are they even real?

Why don't you read through Vixen's thread (bigger boobs coming) about her nipple augmentation......

First of all, not ALL areolas do bulge out naturally... some, viewed in profile fit exactly within the curvature of the breast itself and others DO protrude to one degree or another (often called puffies... I happen to like them tho' some folks don't). Other times, the areola might not actually bulge at all, but because of it's large diameter it appears to be sort of a puffy if the breast itself comes to some sort of a well-defined point. In any case, though I don't know much about 'areola implants' I see no reason why that would be any different than pectoral implants for men: smaller, solid silicone (not liquid in a bag) that are placed to provide the definition desired. IMHO, nipples are as crucial to overall breast appeal as the size/shape of the breast itself is... I personally think that I'd probably prefer non-augmented nipples, but not having actually had any first-hand experience with augmented ones, I can't say that with 100% certainty.

I myself would have to say that it might be tricky. My thinking is this. Why is it that they are not skin coloured? Answer might be that there are more blood vessels. That being the case why would it be so? My thinking would be something to do with milk production transport termination and dissemination point. That being the case there would be a shit load of arteries there, not to speak of the lymphatic system, milk ducts and nerve endings too. Placing an implant there would have to sever a fair whack of these not so? I would say that injecting a substance that does not get integrated into the human body over time might be a way around potential complications. That being the case it is not so much implant as insertion surgery.

Have fun.

I've heard of areola tatoos. For post mastectomy. Is that what you mean?

I'd certainly agree that in some cases, the women with the hugest implants have areolas (and even nipples for that matter) that seem to be flattened over the surface of the breast... no doubt a side effect of the skin of the breast having been so severely stretched to accomodate an implant the size of a human head or larger. However, some models with considerable implants still have VERY attractive nipples and areolas.

Personally, I love bulgin' areolas. Think about Celeste or Davia Ardell (the first implants she had).

So do I. I think my first realization I really liked bulging areolas was seeing Bill Ward art. Dat be it.

You must spank her well, and after you are done with her, you may deal with her as you like... and then... spank me.
And me. And me too. And me.
Yes. Yes, you must give us all a good spanking.
