Agreed. And in addition to all of her professonal success, she's also one of those few models who somehow managed to look as good (or perhaps even better) later in her career than she did at the start (Chloe Vevrier also comes to mind as another member of this VERY select group). Danni was and is great looking, naturally blessed and all the creativity and production value that was brought to bear on her behalf couldn't have been better spent on any other model I can think of.

She's simply great, and a permanent member of my very-favorite-of-all-time list.

Yeah, she's really great.  I've been a member of her site almost since it's inception. They are still posting pics and vids  she did a while back.  I sailed with her on the '97 Boob Cruise.  To say she is one of my favs is an under statement.  She's a classy and smart lady.  I wish her only the very best.

My next model who retired on top is Danni Ashe, born January 16, 1968 in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Danni began working as a stripper in Seattle at the age of seventeen using a fake ID.  In an interview, she once explained her career choice: "I guess I'm an exhibitionist. But that's not quite true. Part of the reason is that I developed huge breasts at an early age and breasts are a very sexualized thing. At an early age I was getting a lot of sexualized attention. Eventually, I just felt that stripping kind of put all that stuff out on the table."

After about five years of working in Seattle clubs, Ashe moved to Los Angeles and began modeling for men's magazines and soft-core pornographic videos. She eventually worked as an exotic dancer in various strip clubs throughout the United States as a featured performer.

Her first online activity was confined to Usenet newsgroups during late 1994 and early 1995.  In the spring of 1995 she decided to create her own website: Danni.com, and when she started charging a fee for access to the site, she named the members' area "The HotBox".

During its first two years online Danni’s Hard Drive was one of the busiest websites in the world, using more bandwidth than the whole of Central America combined. By 2001, the website had made a profit of $6.5 million the previous year and was estimated to be worth 30 million dollars.

On December 5, 2000, Guinness World Records awarded Ashe the title "Most downloaded woman on the Internet" when they confirmed her image had been downloaded over a billion times. Ashe was the first person in history to officially reach this milestone.

Danni's Hard Drive was sold in 2004 to John Morisano. On November 1, 2006, Penthouse Media Group announced a $3 million buyout of all assets, outstanding shares and trademarks of Danni Ashe Inc. and Video Bliss Inc., owners of the successful Danni.com website.
 
Known for her spectacular upturned breasts and her tanlines (see attached photo), Danni is now retired, living in the US west with her husband Bert.

I don't think she retained ownership of her work until she went online. If she did not retain ownership, she would have no control over what the publisher would name the video.

Glad you enjoyed my videos of Danni      I had a ball shooting her on the beach and the LA Zoo. It was crazy.
I hired Danni through Hal Guthu (CHN Agency) and he told me, even though she cost me $400/day, I should get
as much footage of her as possible as she would be a superstar. He was correct.  On a side note, there was
a forensic show which covered the demise of Hal which is an amazing story, if you can get your hands on it.  Hal
was the top agent for softcore models in LA for decades.

Superfox was my little pro/am video production business. Danni didn't some up with that name. I sold rights to
a few of her videos to Southern Shores, which was a tiny production company that I helped get going. I think
those tapes are still available somewhere.

I still have about 28 minutes of unpublished beach footage that I ought to sell one day (I'm out of the business now).
I suppose it is valuable as it some of the very first video of her as she had just started out doing the modeling.

Seems like she got taken to the cleaners to me! The profit in one year alone ($6.5 million) was more than double the selling price of $3 million. I know she's an incredibly bright woman; is this a typo and the selling price should have been stated as $30 million?
