Not a VCR alert, as this already aired on the west coast. However, while channel surfing this evening, I ran across the inane **29** Justice show and there was Danni Ashe, commenting on the fact that NPR asked her to cease and desist using broadcasts from a LA NPR station as the 'on-hold' music for her company.
Danni, who though she's been prolific for what seems like a decade by now, looked great. More importantly, she was articulate and personable (no, she wasn't wearing a low-cut blouse... she was dressed quite conservatively for the interview) ...of course I've seen her on TV before, whenever newsmagazine shows are in sweeps and want ratings they often feature racy content including Danni's empire. This time though, despite the brief clips of her speaking, it was evident that she's of considerably higher-than-average intelligence (one could have assumed this given her immense commercial success, but you never know) and that just makes her (IMHO) more appealing than ever.
This brings to mind her appearance on the late Politically Incorrect where Bill Maher (sp?) was rude and demeaning to her, and she barely got a word in edgewise. I knew BM was a shmuck -before- seeing that, but he became even more dilikable afterwards.
More power to Ms. Ashe. A woman to be admired for a variety of reasons, not all of which relate to her impressive physique.
