Most pictures that are copyrighted have the symbol (c) in some manner and I do not remove that on my morphs.

The self-censorship that this group engages in makes all the criticism and vitriolic remarks leveled against the present Administration laughable.

Well Warlock... I did not ask.
I simply recommend to avoid doing what they request not to do.
I think that's enough for me to know... what else can I do?

Oh, hey, Lory, you're right, I didn't mean anything by it; I'm just curious why there's a 'copyright' symbol by her name in your post, is all.  You're just passing on his request, I know.  I guess a better question would have been 'did he tell you to put the little 'c' by her name in all comments about here too?  That seems kind of extreme.'  That's all.

All photos are copyrighted unless they were specifically released into the public domain.  You don't need the symbol on it for it to be copyrighted.

Not all are copyrighted......I've uploaded some I have taken myself....many of the pictures on TopHeavy.com are user uploads excluding those of the regular models there such as Champagne.

To tell you the truth it doesn't matter to me much as I mostly stick to "unknowns".

I'n not sure what 'group' you are referring to. I can't imagine that you mean the BEA itself... that you'd be so foolish and selfish as to condemn the Ownership of this site for honoring a cease-and-desist request made by a copyright holder asserting their legal rights-of-ownership... right?

Or are you actually suggesting that the BEA Owner should simply IGNORE all copyright infringement letters he receives and just go ahead and let everyone upload whatever they wish consequences be damned?

As for the last part of your statement: as far as I can tell, you're the only one doing any laughing.

You can interpret my statements however you wish, I just find the actions and opinions of this board/site to be hilariously out of sync.

Copyright is automatically established upon creation of the work and posting them on the net does not nullify ones copyright.

I don't want to debate or offend a moderator, but I doubt I'm on the only one who has found the endorsements, policies, rules, and official opinions of this website to be often times contradictory, usually out of sync, and always absurd.  But I do enjoy the forums, however heavily regulated.

You're more than welcome to debate and/or offend as you see fit... no harm will befall you as a result. But please bear in mind that the rules are what make this community possible... without them, this site would have gone the way of so many others... into the ether when running them became more trouble than it's worth for their owners.

However, because of the efforts of the BEA Owner, his webmasters over the years, the mods and the site users themselves, this place is still here. The rather finite list of rules we presently have distill what we've learned thus far about practical necessities in this ongoing effort. I.e.: when something is discovered to be a problem serious enough to jeopardize the existence of the site itself, action is taken to prevent it in the future... including the implementation of a rule designed to prevent the problem from that point on.

You're free to continue to make sweeping generalizations all you like, but the fact of the matter is that without what you so blithely condemn as contradictory and absurd, there'd soon be no forum or site here at all. Rather than simply offer vague and unconstructive criticism, if you've got a specific practical suggestion about how something might be improved then by all means: share it with the rest of us... our ears are open. The rules aren't perfect, nor are any of us who enforce them... if you've got a better idea let us know.

I was just wondering what everyone's opinion was of Abbie Montrose, because I was surprised that I didn't find a single thread pertaining to her. She's of age, and I didn't see anything against posting about her in the rules as long as you dont post pics...but then again I'm still new to this forum. Your thoughts?

Last year I did some morphs of this young lady.

Almost immediately this site was beseiged with threats of legal action, complaints, and all other such nonsense because the chief whiner stated that Abbie was "**08**". Now....this did not prevent him from displaying her pictures all over the Internet and if you do the math....yes...she is of age.

Now.......to avoid any further whining and threats by an apparent immature person...we were asked not to bring Abbie to the BEA by the powers that be and I will comply.

There are so many more beautiful women out there.....Jackie, Shannon, etc. from **19** who can supply us with their lovely images to admire and, in my case, morph.

So let Abbie stay her perpetual "**08**"...we don't need her here.

She's allright I guess. I still check her site every now and then, but I've really learned not to expect much from her... it's like she doesn't want her modelling carreer to exist almost. In any case, there's bigger fish to fry
