I'm afraid math is one of the things that utterly fascinate me. The division actually does make sense. I hadn't thought of that. You're buying combinations, not every possible sequence. I feel stupid now.
Back to topic... As near as I can tell, the first option on the list indeed does tend to be the ruder/crueler/more progressive choice, where as the second choice tends to be the nicer of the two. Think of them as "screw it, keep going" and "have mercy and stop".
The scenes with different characters seem to continue in their progression until your character has been satisfied by his new toy. Typically, this will be selecting choice #2 at any time. So if you want to unlock more scenes, you have to be a prick

Then there's a couple more interaction scenes, and you deliver the goods to the yellow haired freak. On to your next vi-... subject.
I got kind of bored playing. There's an ungodly ammount of dialouge, and even though I've nearly finished playing the imported SF III discs for Saturn to completion, it bothers me not to have any idea what the hell is going on

Conclusion: The CG scenes are fairly well done. But if you're looking for being able to instantly drop into the game and start transforming the characters, it isn't for you. There's a good 15-30 minutes of dialouge where all you're really going to see, aside from the various characters standing around and talking to you, is the red head giving the doctor (you) a little head. Mindless and instantly satisfying pr0n this is not. If you just want to see pretty pictures without any work, this isn't your download
