I think the first time Kate Beckinsale really caught my eye is when I saw a sneak preview of Serendipity (some romantic-comedy / chick flick). Though her and Krista Allen look similar, the main difference for me is this: Krista Allen is a hottie, Kate Beckinsale is a cutie. You fantasize about having sex with Krista, but when you think about a romantic evening with lots of cuddling by the fireside, it's a woman like Kate that comes to mind.
