I don't think LSG was really boob-competitive with her co-stars.  But on the other hand, when Pam Anderson was on an episode of Just Shoot Me! Laura was the only regular cast member who did NOT appear in any scenes with Pam, so somebody might have been afraid of the comparison.

It's been a while since this famous clip from 1994's The Stand has been posted.  I've been able to brighten the picture and enlarge it a bit, and I reversed the scene so LSG isn't pulling her blouse together to cover up, but is uncovering the goodies.  Remember, size-wise, this is 3 years before Just Shoot Me!, when Laura's MILF-hood's growth-spurt would have shaken those puppies right out of that bra.  CLICK

I didn't see "Quigley..." until many years after it was released, but I did see LSG in "Sex Lies and Videotape," and "Pretty Woman," around the same time, and have to confess that she didn't make much of an impression on me, other than as a fairly cute brunette.  As I've said before, it wasn't until I was channel surfing one fateful night and saw her bouncing across the old boob tube that my lust engine was lit.  As you can see in these promo photos, there was a shift from her great pair of legs to an even greater pair, and my fascination has never waned.

I concede that your eye (your boob-o-meter) is sharper than mine. But I think if I'd been lucky enough to have seen "Quigley" when it was first released I would have signed up for LSG's fan club a lot sooner.  It was definitely her bustiest appearance before the Just Shoot Me era.

Here's a shot of LSG as she heard the news that she once again holds the top spot among mainstream boobsters (#32 overall) on the BEA's most-viewed list. She never won a Golden Globes award, but her globes will always be golden for a lot of us!  A well-deserved honor.
