Back in the glorious days of the great growth-surge, LSG might have wondered if Gonzo's image could actually become reality.

For any LSG fans who might have missed that part of BEA ancient history, I pulled a bit of a prank some years ago when I composed a fictionalized report on an incident supposedly witnessed on television late one night. That bit of tomfoolery was later re-packaged into a BEhavior article (BEhavior was our once-thriving webzine put together by a bunch of early users back when the BEA was relatively young... a full listing of archived issues can be found here: http://www.bearchive.com/~behavior/



Anyway, aside from whatever modest entertainment value my story might have at this late date, the BEhavior item also includes a great bunch of caps of Laura in a red dress and a red top from a couple of her Tonight Show appearances, along with a tasty bit of CG one of my fellow BEhaviorist was kind enough to provide for the issue. If I'd been around I would have fallen for that hoax, hook line & sinker, Palomine. I like to think I'm not usually suckered by pranks and such, but I know the desire to believe something interferes with rational thought and my desire to believe LSG had hefted a boob on live TV would have been through-the-roof. Of course after I'd spent 24 hours scouring for evidence and you had burst my bubble, I'd have placed a gypsy curse on your head. (Don't expect to hoax an LSG obsessive without consequences.)

Despite the objections of the rest of the cast, the later episodes of Just Shoot Me were usually taped in the mornings because the two biggest stars of the show got more difficult to work with as the day wore on. (A tip-of-the-cap to Dr. F and Palomine who first drew my attention to LSG's posture problems.)

That was actually the plot of a lost episode from season 1 named "The Score Whore"... It's included on the Blu-ray...

It's not widely known, but just after the JSM episode cited by Dr. F, SCORE made an offer to Laura. To everyone's amazement she accepted and posed for a red-hot photo spread with Sarenna Lee. Below is a prototype of the cover (only a few were printed) for what would have been a best-selling issue. Just before they went to press, LSG's agent convinced her it would ruin her mainstream career and she was able to get SCORE to kill the issue before it was printed.
