Not sure about the purple bathing suit image (no B cups those, to be sure)... it MIGHT be from "Nina" but it's been ages since I've seen it so I'm not sure. She certainly does look young there (and sweet, even with the goofy hairdo). The second image you posted looks like a montage of vidcaps of her from an appearance on the Tonight Show... a full set of good caps from that show (and another one) are inside the Behavior reprint I linked to above.
I agree on a couple of the points above: we like what we like because it makes us FEEL something. In the absence of true brilliance/greatness/beauty we (in the mass sense) will latch onto a substitute... still, I find it hard to believe that this is all that's responsible for the ridiculous success of Britney, crap action films, barely-mediocre products including OS's, etc.... I think that in addition to the need to latch onto SOMETHING, there's also a cycle of: "others like it/her, therefore it must be good so I'll like it too..." in an effort to back a winner (as it were), so as to validate one's own ability/prudence/judgement/taste.... regardless of whether the person in question is aware of the effort being made or not. Hence the vast sums spent on the manufacture of hype... ad agencies, product placement, PR folks, spin doctors, etc.... all in an effort to convince you that something/someone is of value, and that others already recognize the fact, so GET WITH THE PROGRAM (you poor sucker, you easily-manipulated consumer dolt) and buy/want/consume what we're selling. Why else the inclusion of the word "hit" in practically every new tv commercial pimping the latest crappy movie destined for cable mere weeks from now? By proclaiming it a "hit" (even long before the first box office receipts can be tallied no less!
) the implication is that other consumers (suckers) ate it up, therefore if you don't there's something wrong with YOU!
LSG is (being objective as possible) a little bigger than just average, and the fact that those melons are made of flesh and not silicone or saline makes them all the more interesting (to me). On her otherwise small (but not skinny) frame, that makes her look quite a bit bigger (in proportion... the reason Nadine's photographer centers his wide angle lens close to her already-massive mam: it distorts the image to increase the proportional difference between her breast and the rest of her). On the opener of the christmas-fantasy show (in the beige or yellow sweater) she did look what I'd call 'huge'. Not HUGE by Score or morph standards, but certainly HUGE by non-implanted mainstream film/tv actress standards. There's a difference of course.
IMHO, LSG is desirable not simply because she's got big natural breasts, but because overall she's pretty far removed from generic. She looks like a real woman (albeit one gifted with a larger than average bustworks) instead of a charactacture (sp?) of a woman as so many actresses, singers, etc... do. I can look at a clip of Britney, Christina, Jessica, etc... and of course they're cute enough to provoke an involuntary physiological reaction (even though some of them are as dumb as fenceposts and all 3 of them don't add up to a true artist talentwise) so I briefly think to myself 'yeah, I'd do her." But that's all the fleeting fantasy consists of: an acknowledgement that they get a rise out of me. In contrast, when I see LSG, not only does she get a rise out of me (more quickly and with much more enthusiasm) but the fantasy that follows is not simply one of fucking and sucking, but also includes desire, emotion, relationship, etc...
Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm not as young as I used to be, but I LIKE the OTHER stuff (the interest in intellect, the desire for intimacy in addition to sex, etc...) as much as I appreciate the raw physical attraction.
