Union Station (Amtrak) and Science City Museum in the center. Downtown in the distance. The KC Art Museum is south of here about 30 blocks

Remember this is July of 2004 so the city has changed a bit.

I should go back and take the same photo again.

Yeah, you should! It would be fun to see all the changes.

If there's one thing I appreciate the Nexus line of phones for, it's how they have helped to vastly simplify the taking and posting of panoramic images.

I agree, it's a great idea. In Seattle there is a guy named Paul Dorpat who finds very old photos (100 years plus) in museums, newspapers, or history books, goes to the location , and takes a "now" photo. They run in the Sunday paper, and he has a series of books.
