Wondering if anybody else caught the "L&O: SVU" episode featuring Jennifer Love Hewitt tonight.

It was a fantastic departure from the traditional "crime—>victim—>suspect—>trial" format. This one sought to expose the inadequate capacities of municipal police to deal with ®@pe kit testing following those vicious crimes against women. I sincerely hope this creates a drive among governments to supply more funding to the resolution of these tens of thousands of unresolved cases. I didn't find myself crying like I thought I would, but I've rarely seen on the show a ®@pist painted in a darker, more sinister fashion than this one. Congratulations to Jennifer Love Hewitt, and may I say she looked fantastic, even in fake blood.

I watched it as I am a fan of the SVU (and the other L&O shows) show and I have to say that this featured some of J Love's BEST acting work.  I really felt for her as a victim of 15 YEARS worth of attacks (you would have to seen the episode to know what I am talking about).  I remember a few years ago when Sally Field came on a episode or a few of ER as a characters bipolar mom, and she won a Emmy for it, I could see J Love getting the same, she was THAT good to me .

Sorry I missed it, I was watching something else. Besides, I don't watch enough on NBC to catch the promos, so I didn't know she was guesting this week. I'll have to catch the repeat (Oct. 9th at 10 pm  EDT.)
