The women of Overwatch
Blizzard did get some flack about the distinct LACK OF VARIETY IN FEMALE BODY TYPES in Overwatch, so much so that they deliberately introduced the bodybuilder character (top center) in direct reply and made statements to the fact. Indirectly they were acknowledging that they had produced nearly identical women up till that point.
Many reviews at the time did follow the same format, saying things like, "although the assertions were valid, Blizzard did a great job at giving them diverse backgrounds..." or "even though they appear nearly identical, they made the effort to..."
This sort of side-step of the fact that the criticism was correct and they had messed up is a bit annoying. At least they have tried to fix it with subsequent characters.
