I'm sure I'm one of the few here who's played with Barbies...well if you tilt their heads back, so they're flat and facing up...(it used to scare the hell out of me for some reason) they get that kind of flat and soulless expression. At first glace of the After picture, thats what came to mind.

I have this idea about Hollywood (and to be honest, the nation it's entangled with).
There's this bizarre mix of prudery and salacity.
It's like they're afraid of anything that isn't pure hype, that might actually be something in itself, and therefore out of their control.
Anything mediocre is smothered in ludicrously overblown verbiage, while anything profound or deserving of real appreciation results in embarrassed silence or disapproval.
If it's not part of the script, it's a threat to our illusions.
