Odrazil, let me tell you I absolutly think like you do.
Well... I do not need to cancel My Cosmo subscription, as I never had it...
Anyway, let me tell you that, not only women, also men can get more attractive with the years... As DruulEmpire mentioned, not every men is like Sean Connery, but let me tell you... I preffer men with the type of All Paccino... WHAT A MAN!!! I do not like the blond ones with beautiful faces... Preffer the tough one, with hard lines... Anyway... I LOVE MEN!
And if getting older means to get not only more attractive, but also know what to do with sex appeal... let me tell you I am on this way... (WHAT A GREAT SUBTOPIC HERE...)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR OPINIONS... YOU ARE ALL GREAT! I really do not care about the new wrinkles in my face anymore....
GREAT DAY FOR YOU ALLL!!!!

OK.  Here is my opinion, as a woman, on the age question. The "question" should be avoided because most women don't like it.  The ladies who freely volunteer their age do so confidently and those who choose to remain vague have the right to do so if it makes them feel better. The best way to pay a compliment to a lady who seems to be more mature is to tell her that her classic beauty is ageless and that she looks hot. (to be said with adoring eyes, bending as to mime the kissing of the hand, this will also give  you a closer glimpse at her boobs if you glance up).Depending on circumstances and psychological comfort zone, one may choose to divulge her age, or not.A woman will remain beautiful all her life if she takes care of herself.  Working out, good nutrition, sunblock and limited abuse of stimulants will determine a woman's looks (OK, plastic surgery too!), but the maintenance program must start early in life and continue.A woman who cares when she is 20 and 30 will look good when she is more mature.Having said this, it is never too late to rejuvenate and studies done in senior citizens showed that working out 20 minutes/3 time a week for two months, increased their mobility by 80% and increased bone density according to each individual case.(I am also banking on cloning of organs through stem cells, and if that comes through, health will live on! )But the most important factor in beauty is... MOJO.One can be as beautiful as a movie star, if there is no MOJO the beauty will become boring very quickly and that means that beauty comes from the inside.Mojo gets better with age, that's a fact.  So if a woman has MOJO, she will be charming and seductive at any age.S.

I'm with you too, Odrazil.  Don't ask, don't tell.  We'll tell you our ages when we feel the time is right, or when it's appropriate.  It's not REALLY that big of a deal, just a little more allure of mystery.  If a woman is insecure and righteously guarded about divulging her age, that's a strong indicator of the rest of her...Chances are, she's pretty insecure about the rest of herself.

Mmm...Tommy Lee Jones (especially as "William Call" on Lonesome Dove).

Hmmm, this sounds like a great idea for a sequel to 'I know what you did last summer' ... entitle it 'I know how old you are' ...

Responding to several things at once:

On being Mike Wallace at his age: I'll settle for just *being* his age (it beats the alternative).

On asking a woman her age: It is never important, so there is no reason to ask it - EXCEPT if you are carding her!

On women aging gracefully: I understand that women hit their sexual peak in their early 30's. So they can stay near the peak a lot longer, since they get there later...

On the latest version of Madonna: She's actually gotten into the Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), and wants to do a cable TV documentary on it...
