   In an interview, Angelina Jolie replied to the question of Lara's vs her endowments: "Lara Croft is a 36DD, I am a 36C so we compromised and padded me up to a 36D.  I would say that Lara and I meeting half way has been a success".   I may not have the wording verbatim but that is the gist of it.

   The original Live Action Lara Croft model, Rhona Mitra, posted above (Thanks, Hark) actually got her boobs done to get the job over her rivals (talk about commitment to cause).  Thanks to her boob-job and her role of Major Rachel Dalton on the show "Strike Back" she is still my hero

   I also understand that to this day she does not know why she was dismissed and replaced with another model.  The good news for her is that Rhona is still working so how is that for the best revenge.

Sadly she was at her peak in the early days of the internet era so there is a distinct l lack of hi-res pix of her in her Lara Outfit.  And yeah, I'd still do her.

Really?  I always thought she was pretty flat, like an A or B cup. Huh.

   Or should I say 'them'.  This is Angie in full skank mode from the movie 'Gia'   Some good girl/girl action with Elizabeth Mitchell there.  Here she is about 23 years old.   I figure those live somewhere between big Bs or modest C cups.  Boobs are not math tho so your mileage may vary.

Interestingly, I have never played any of the Tomb Raider games... they just do not appeal to me.

I have found the slow decline of her bust line over the years as an unfortunate side-effect of social pressure and designing to the least common denominator.

Why can't a heroine be busty?

The quote from Angelina Joile above it true, at least there was an effort to make her more like the games that established the character. The joke at the time was, "Can Jolie fill Laura's boots?"

I actually find the most recent movie installment and the "adolescent" looking Lura from the "Reboot" video game and the argument that it makes her more of a "real" character actually defensive and somewhat disrespectful. The avoidance of the whole "look" in the reboot game was explained originally as "she is younger", thereby implying that she just had not grown into the woman she would later become.

It now looks like that fine point is being missed and that there is just the assumption that this is how she should look as this is how she is... well that is not correct.

I think it is just a missed opportunity to show a woman who does not look like every other generic action actor in a serious action film and still have valid justification to do so.
